New Series - Setting Up an eShop Using WordPress
You may have already read my article Website or Blog? where I discuss why I choose to turn this website into a blog. I have found that the blog style is easier to use, easier to update and can potentially invite more visitors.
In a new series of articles, I will be discussing how you can setup an eShop using WordPress for your existing store. If you do not already have an eStore, but are selling on eBay or Etsy, these articles will also help you learn how to purchase your own domain name and start selling on your own website.
The articles will include real-life examples from a store that I currently have - Stitched Silly. I sell embroidered items and the store is in serious need of updating! I will take you step by step on how I change my eStore into a new blog format eShop using WordPress.
The topics will include:
- Choosing a Domain Name
- Purchasing a Domain Name
- Hosting
- Installing WordPress
- Installing the eShop
- Customizing
- Plugins, Widgets and Other Good Stuff
- Organizing your Store
- Writing Good Posts
- Attracting and Keeping Customers

Interesting blog you have here. I’ll be sure to visit it again whenever it’s updated! Have a nice day!
