It’s now Aug 10/11 and there’s been 2656 click throughs on my ad. Not one sale or sign up.

I am fully convinced that the traffic is fake. I suspect that they are using scripts to produce clicks and to imitate ip addresses.

I’ve sent many requests for a refund and they have all been turned down.

If anyone here feels that they have been scammed by star position please contact me.

I don’t believe the traffic is legitimate traffic that they provide. The only way to really confirm the quality of traffic S.P. is providing is with results.

From July 8-15 2011 my S.P. account showed 594 click throughs and from that I had no sales or sign ups.

From a different paid traffic provider I am getting 1 sale for every 120 click throughs as well as sign ups. Clearly the traffic generated by S.P. is not legitimate or else there would be some results.

S.P. says “If we generated any fake traffic, you’d get a full refund.”

Seeing that S.P. has control of all the information being produced a customer cannot prove that the traffic is fake.

If you are an online advertiser please do not use this service as there is no way for you to confirm the legitimacy of the traffic.

I am hoping for a refund and if Search Position had any sense of business ethics they would issue refunds.

Fell for it too. Common sense indicates that this browser dependent technology would be very limited from a performance standpoint.

great points. Google doesn’t have to come to the defense of how effective their advertising is. You know why? Because people are getting conversion rates they are happy with. Same with MSN Adcenter and any other ppc network.

About a year back I bought a domain and started a blog with WP theme there. I kept the url like blog.domain.com and added good number of content. Actually I had a plan to start own website with own design but due to lack of time and money I could not able to make my website till today. And now I am thinking to sift my blog direct to my same domain.com. So there would not be word “blog” in my url.

And my question is:
Can I do that?
Will this create problem in SEOing and Ranking?

Pls. help to solve.

I believe that Robert Sexton is now sending spam emails as “Robert Moore [rem@ng-gateway.com]”, and that the http://www.ng-gateway.com site is just another clone “NetGuard Toolbar” site like http://www.netguardtoolbar.com, http://www.spnservice.com, and http://www.ngssystems.com.

Here is such a spam email that I received earlier this week!
